How to use your Abode Color Reader

We want to make your process simpler and your access more varied, while giving you the space to design to your heart’s content. Color Reader takes you places, with Abode’s style consultants at your side.

Start by downloading the Abode app, charging the device and calibrating it based on the following simple steps.

STEP 1

Press the button near the charging port.

STEP 2

Apply the sensor to any flat surface and press ‘read’ on the app

STEP 3

View your captured color on the left and the closest paint matches on the right

Start to choose your finish

Browse furniture swatches by finish and request a wood, metal or textile sample for your clients to receive a completely hands on experience. Samples are reserved for partnering interior designers only and you can use your Color Reader on a swatch to access a palette that compliments your space.
